Will my insurance really cover a chip repair?
Most comprehensive policies waive the deductible for chip repair, because fixing a chip now is cheaper for them than replacing a windshield later. We'll check your coverage and bill your carrier directly.
How long until I can drive?
Right away after a chip or crack repair. After a replacement, we recommend waiting about an hour for the urethane to reach its safe-drive strength.
Will the chip disappear completely?
A repair restores strength and usually makes the chip 80–95% less visible. A faint mark may remain, but it won't spread.
Do I need ADAS calibration?
If your car has a camera mounted behind the windshield (lane-keep, adaptive cruise, auto-braking), it needs recalibration after a replacement. Repairs don't require it.
What if it rains?
We bring a canopy for light weather, or can meet you in a covered garage. If conditions aren't safe for the resin to cure, we'll reschedule at no charge.
